Kim Smith has been teaching dancing for 53 years and has owned and operated Dr. Dance Studio, Inc. in Birmingham for 47 years. She holds both Membership and Fellowship Degrees with the North American Dance Teachers Association and Licentiates Degrees with the USISTD and is an USA Dance National Championship and WDSF World Championship Adjudicator. Kim is a member of the National Committee and Treasurer of the United States Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. She is formerly the Examinations Director and member of the first Professional Council for USA Dance. Kim is an experienced teacher/coach and is available for competitive coaching in Standard, Latin, American Smooth and Rhythm as well as social dance disciplines.
